Hi All-
Welcome to the Masters Essay course. I am so psyched we'll get to work together like this this semester!
I'm a day late on this post - sorry - but I thought I'd do some researching and writing along with you guys this term. I'm thinking of starting one of two projects (both collaboratively written and both about the girlhood camp).
The first project I am kicking around is a co-authored piece with my friend Kris Blair. We'd like to do a piece on why the field - English in general or rhetoric in particular - should care about girlhood studies. I imagine it will be reflective and personal in nature in some places, but also theoretically situated. Still thinking of a home for it but maybe CCC or College English.
The other project has a tech comm focus and will be written with Meg McGuire (I gotta clear this with her too) and will be about the decision to teach the Girlhood Remixed campers Weebly rather than DreamWeaver. I want it to be about agency and access and the balance of theory and practice.
I'm looking forward to feedback from the group as I get this started.
